Just got my PT 1911!!
here she is!!....should be getting my STI short trigger today...

...first time I ever took a 1911 apart....not that I was totally clueless....I have been known to do some amatuer 'smithin'....and being an Electrical Engineer I figured I had HALF a CHANCE!!


.....long story short.....I installed my Short STI trigger without any major issues...

...note to self...

1. Make sure the sear engages the hammer before placing the left side safety back on...

The STI trigger looks really great on your Taurus. The two-tone finish is really handsome. How does it shoot?
