Who's put new 3 dot sights on their RIA GI?

Wanting to change out the sights on my Rock Island 3.5" GI and can't find anything that says it will work. I'd like to go with the Big Dots or a set of 3 dot night sights. Who has done this, and where did you find them? Any pics would be great too. Thanks.

I have the Citadel which is the same as a RIA. I used nitesitters which stick to the existing sites. I used the big dots for the rear and a stripe for the front.

Thanks. I've been looking at Fusions site all morning, but was looking at the kits. BTW, how did they shot as far as POA/POI on your gun?

The instructions say they stick on good but they didn't for me. They come with glue which is what I had to use.

I know this is kinda ghetto but, when I bought my RIA 1911, I couldn't afford sights and I didn't like the stock sights with no dots so I improvised and made my own with an automatic center punch and some sight paint until I could get new sights. I attatched some pix if you want to check them out.

I've got 3-dot night sights on my 4" Rock and 2-dot rear with fiber optic front on my 5" Rock. My eyes are too old and GI sights don't make it for me, even with (or because of) progressive bi-focal glasses.

I've been looking at putting the same Fusion sights on mine. I found this thread with a picture of a set already on. I'd be interested to see more or better pix of how the rear sight meets up with the slide. It looks like it may leave a good size gap on each side, where the slide rounds down away from the hood (bottom part of the site).

Nothing ghetto about those sights, they look great.

I've got Trijicon 3-Dot Night Sights on mine.

Work great, and will fit the small front sight tenon on your GI.

Pricey at about $100 though.
