The Lightweight Champion Operator HOLSTER Thread

Well I recently aquired a SA LWT Champion Operator and have since been seeking out good holster options. As I have searched the archives I have found the question comes up about once or twice a month so I thought I would consolidate the holster makers that I have found for the Champ Operator here. In a few cases, some makers have models for the 4" Kimber Railed 1911's, I am assuming they will fit, but please check before buying, and or, if someone can confirm they will fit that'd be awesome.

Feel free to add to the thread and I will continue to update the first post as a quick reference for those looking for a holster specifically made for the LWT Champion Operator.

Leather:

Nick Matthews- NM-Holsters

MIlt Sparks

UBG Holsters

High Noon Holsters

Galco Holsters Note: I searched for the Kimber 4" 1911 with Rail and they have some options.

TT Gun Leather

C5 Leather

Little Bear Custom Holsters

DeSanis Holster and Leather Goods

Tucker Gun Leather

Pure Kustom Holsters

Kydex:

Fobus Holsters

Raven Concealment Holster
Note on Raven:The Ghost Model will fit without any issue as it fits any 1911 with a rail. I received an email from RC that the 5" railed with Light holsters will work with the Champ... but it obviously is bigger than what you need.

Comp-Tac Holsters Note: Search for Kimber 4" with rail.

Hybrid:

Cross Breed Holsters

Do they make the railed option? I didn't see it in the drop down menu, thanks!

I emailed Raven about a light holster for the Champion operator and they told me the 5" railed version is the one that will work. You're right. Longer than it needs to be but it is the one that will work.

I know it is a bummer, I have read nothing but glowing reports about their ugly rigs I'd like one for the X300 light attached, but I don't want an extra inch hanging around... its why I bought a 4"

I use the Ghost rig for my LW Operator. I'll post a pick later but no need for the 5 inch model.

Here is a link to the holster. Just a regular 1911 Ghost Holster.

I dont see the SA Champ Operator in the drop down weapon selectors... can you confirm. They do list a commander 1911 but do not specify if it fits a rail or not... which seems to be the biggest deal breaker.

Thanks!

Awesome, thanks!

Ross Leather didn't list a 4" with rail, do you have one that you can confirm?

Do you have a pic of the Galco with a Champ Operator in it? I won't add it 'till I see it I am looking for direct fit holsters for the Champ OPerator.

Do you have one from El Paso, it appears they don't exclude the Champ Operator, but they don't list it either and I am trying to create a one stop shop for those looking for a direct fit.

thanks man!

Thanks for this thread; finding a holster for the Champion Operator was admittedly a pain at first since so few holster makers were crafting them.

I'm wearing a DeSantis 3-slot Speed Scabbard and it fits well, breaks in quickly, and is extremely comfortable. Be nice to see it on the list.

I am saving up my pennies for a Milt Sparks rig, but the DeSantis holster is a great holster and rather affordable at $65. I am very pleased with it.

I'm not personally a huge fan of theirs. I have some of their holsters, but I have the same issues with theirs as I have with raven concealment: the kydex is horribly thin and seems to crack easily.

My LW Operator rides in one of these. Pretty sure he can make one up for you.
