16. I bought my first Dan Wesson in 2004. It was a PMA-S and was hooked. Since then I have amassed a nice collection of mostly pre-CZ guns. I,d like to add a cco but my wife has threatened me with bodily harm. I think some sort of intervention might be in order to kick the habit.

I have 2 Dan Wessons, a Valor and a CBOB.

Sorry, Keith, but I am not a fan of the sights that came on either one. I have replaced the sights on both with 10-8 U notch rears and white dot bead (similar to gold bead) fronts. I love that combination. I also repalced the trigger on the CBOB with an STI trigger and modified the thin grips that came on the Valor and put them on the CBOB. All personal preference stuff.

I need to have Dave build me some Gold Bead or Brass Bead fronts.

I know most everyone here are already Dan Wesson fans, but just have to say, I have Colts, Springfields, STIs (three fancy ones) and have had many other 1911s over the last 30 years, and my two Dan Wessons are my favorites.

Speaking on Dan Wessons, got to go now, I think I take both of them out to the range and put 200 or 300 rounds through them.

I must want to shoot pretty bad, cause its oly about 25 degrees here in Idaho.
