lmao the only ammo that's worse than umc is wolf!

wolf has steel shells which can gouge you chamber. also that black lacquer crap they put on the shell can melt off into the chamber and cause all sorts of issues.

i only buy umc if i'm desperate to go shooting and there is nothing else avaliable. i would never put wolf in any of my guns, ever!

sell the wolf to someone that doesn't mind taking the risk.

that federal champion ammo i see in your pic is some of the cleanest range ammo i've ever shot. my friends that own the gun range concur on that too-that's some good stuff and cheap as crap at walmart too.

umc is actually some of the dirtiest ammo you can buy lol.

i definitely wouldn't risk damage to your sweet ass gi expert with wolf ammo!

Hey now, everyone gets all excited when you start posting pics lol
the federal i have for my .45 is hydra shok that stays close to my bed, the other is for my 22 which was $1.77/50 at WM.

I have had no problem with UMC like stated and reguardless i clean my gun after every 50 rounds. The wolf went through fine aside from a FTE that didnt harm the gun at all. I spoke with a few guys that have shot Wolf for years out of their 1911's, one was a para LDA and he said he never had problems with their ammo. Ill take my chances as of right now, i have about 10 more guns i want to buy this year so its gonna become used less and less most likely

Thanks for the words people

lol umc isn't likely to damage your guns, whereas wolf is much more likely to do so.

like i said i would use umc if it's all i could find, but would never use wolf for anything, i would rather not go shooting than risk damage to my guns!

i had heard some mixed reviews about wolf from people at my range as well as online.

i got it decently cheap after searching for it for any ammo at the time and just ended up buying it, honeslty i really havent have any issues with it.
i have about 15 spent casings here with not so much as a mark showing the "lacquer" coming off or even looking like it would be an issue.

People have been shooting 7.62 out of AK's for years using wolf, all
though a lot of people say to stear clear from their .223 rounds, while a family friend has fired nothing but their .223(over 10,000 rounds last time we went shooting) from his DPMS AR-15 with no problems to date.

coin toss possibly

yeah that wolf shell is pretty banged up, never seen that before, wouldn't keep using it!

wolf ammo is made for russian and east european guns that have chrome lined barrels that aren't damaged by steel shells and heavy duty extractors and ejectors for the same reason.
