Totally ambidextrous magazine release allows the use of the trigger finger or thumb for both left and right handed shooters. Easy to install in a few minutes, no modification to outside of the frame. Available in stainless or blue. Specify for 1911 or Para-Ordnance when ordering

Does anyone have any pics of Springfield's low-profile 3 dot combat sights? I know what the regular 3 dot combat sights look like as they come on the mil-specs. My GI is going in for some warranty work so I am going to have a little upgrading done.

I bought this about a month ago and added the 10-8 rear sight and trigger.

Here's the work that was done to it when i bought it.

This Springfield TRP is a very nice custom 1911. It started out as a factory TRP gun with a checkered front strap, Novak night sights, ambi safety, extended mag well, front and rear cocking serrations, etc. It was then sent back to the factory and had $710 worth of Custom Shop work done. It has had a Nowlin match barrel and bushing added, custom fit frame to slide, replaced slide stop and safety, custom match hammer and sear, 3.5 lb trigger, and completely refinished in Armory Kote. It includes the factory box and 3 Wilson ETM 8 round mags.

Hi,
Just got it back from SA custom shop.

Note the slide serrations, bead basted , front strap de-fanged , de-burred inside , magewell de-horned, all work was done under warranty!

Feels great in the hand now

Well I just though that I would chime in with my LW operator that I just got back from the custom shop. I had the front strap hand checkered at 20 LPI, had the trigger tunned to 3.75lbs. and had it refinished in a Black/Green T finish

When did you send it in, and when did you get it back Zigo? They've had mine since March 22nd and still not call

Hope nobody minds me posting the enemy brand in here. The Custom Shop installed my parts plus made it a little more reliable. They also Armory Koted it and polished the outside of the barrel (tiny amount of rust before).
