Nothing too fancy. Just a mil-spec with an SACS trigger action job with their tool steel spur hammer and sear. KISS. I like her

Nice. The hammer looks like Cylinder & Slide Marine Corps spur hammer. Very classic setup.

Thanks! SACS might use the cylinder and slide hammer you are referring to. I think I might eventually have an SS match bushing installed, but other than that, I'll be keeping it pretty basic.

It's not all custom shop but I thought I would share anyway.
SCS did the front sight and the front strap treatment.

I only have one Springer at the moment. It is in the 10mm variety. Have been trying to find out some info on it. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if someone would have an idea of value. Thanks.

I bet it's polished HC. As far as I know, SACS has never put out a stainless 1911.

They will do upgrades/customize SS production guns but none of their custom shop models that start production in the custom shop are SS. I spoke with Deb about this a couple months ago about building a custom SS 1911 and she said they won't do it. She said they don't even recommend using a SS production gun for a custom build.

Also, there are limitations on what they will or won't do.

Whether or not SACS produced a SS model in the past, I have no clue. I've haven't seen one in this thread or anywhere else.

SA custom shop enlarged the ejection port and installed an extended ejector on my plain-Jane GI Champion.

Stock GI port:

After the work, enlarged and flared port:

Stock GI ejector:

New extended ejector:

SA also re-parkerized the slide. It’s a better job than the original, I think, being smoother.
