Thanks for the education men.

I think I have this one confused with your other, (GI?) modified by the custom shop. Either way, good looking gat!

Hell yeah. I get 'em for free at work sometimes.

They make a great undercover range bag!

custom:
it had the fiber optic sites put on
but of gun rounded
barrel flush cut and crowned
checkered front strap 20lpi
ion bonded the whole thing
small single sided safety

extras it appeared to have,
it is smoother around the back of the slide
no sharp edges that i have found
slight bevel around magwell
also it got a new recoil spring from what i can tell.

This was my first year at Nationals. What a frigging blast it was! Great weather...bit hot, but man was it gorgeous! Shot OK...not great, not terrible. I missed getting an EIC "leg" by less than 20 pts...Pretty decent for the first year.

Best part is that I was sent BY my work! Getting paid to shoot and promote "military marksmanship" is AWESOME! I had to pay my way up and accommodations. Ammo was supplied as was an armorer.

I sent my Operator to the SACS to fit a single thumb safety and checker the front strap (including frame refinishing). Can someone who has had similar work done tell me how long I should expect to wait to get a call from them to tell me it's done and submit my payment?

I did the same, plus a little more. Mine left today. Williams quoted me 6-8 weeks. Closer to 8 because I went with 25LPI checkering. They recently had a machine dedicated to checkering go down on them. It's back up now but they are still getting caught up.
