2011 Golden Gate IDPA Championship
Richmond, California
May 20-22, 2011

Registration for the Golden Gate IDPA Championship (a Sanctioned match) is now open. This year's match will be held at the Bay Area's own Richmond Rod & Gun Club in Richmond, CA.

The match will include 11 stages, 150 competitor slots, and nearly 22,000 rounds expended over two days. We will also have a large prize table and a Sunday BBQ lunch included with the registration fee.

The dates are Friday, May 20th through Sunday, May 22nd. Safety Officers and Staff will shoot on Friday, with the main competition taking place Saturday. Side matches and awards will take place on Sunday.

The match will be open to all classifications (including Novice), and you will need to have shot a Classifier Match in the division in which you wish to compete after May 20, 2010 (requirement not applicable to "Master" classification).

This is a great opportunity to take part in a major shooting competition, even if you don't consider yourself a "championship" shooter. We encourage you to consider competing and enjoying a great weekend of shooting and fun.

We also have several staff positions still open if you wish to help out and earn a substantial discount off the match fee. Contact the Match Director at [email protected] if interested.

Also the 2011 U.S.East Coast IDPA Championship in set for Oct 14-15th, this will be a 30 stage match.

IDPA being 15 years old this year I thought it would be a good idea to go back to the root of the sport.
With purpose and principles of IDPA in mind, pages 4 and 5 (IV) of the rule book, I'm looking at holding a match with 30 stages (big match) only 6 of them would be 12 rounds (12-18) the other 24 would be from 3(1or2) to 9 rounds (not10/11 or 12).

Welcome back to the San Juan Shooting Range located in beautiful Montrose, CO. This will be our second year holding an IDPA Sanctioned match at this range. We hope that those of you who made the APG Western Slope Regional enjoyed the match. This year the Brose Team promises to make it even more exciting than last. Ever shot out of a coffin!
This year we would like to introduce you to an IDPA Skills Class offered 2 days before the match. The class will be taught by IDPA Four Gun Master Matt Simms. Cross Timbers IDPA is hosting 2012 Lone Star IDPA Championship on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at the Spartan Tactical Range Complex in Jacksboro, Texas.

The Lone Star IDPA Championship is a sanctioned IDPA match, all current IDPA competition and equipment rules will be enforced

This match is open to IDPA members with current classification.

The match will consist of 10 stages with a minimum round count of 150 rounds.

Trophies will be awarded based on IDPA rules in all IDPA divisions and classifications.

The match fee includes lunch on match day and all applicable range fees.

Registration for the Golden Gate IDPA match is now open. Come out to Richmond and join us for a couple of days of action pistol shooting with some of the best IDPA shooters in the region. This is one of only two sanctioned IDPA matches scheduled on the West Coast this year.

This year's event will be scaled down compared to previous years. We are not doing a prize table, holding side matches, or providing a BBQ. On the other hand, we have dramatically cut the cost of this match to provide an affordable day with tough courses of fire in an official sanctioned IDPA match.

The dates are Friday and Saturday, June 8th and 9th. Safety Officers and Staff will shoot on Friday, and the main competition will shoot on Saturday. Awards will be presented after competition concludes on Saturday.

2013 Central California Regional IDPA Championship - June 29-30

Midvalley Defensive Shooters will be hosting the 2013 Central California Regional IDPA Championship (Sanctioned) match on Sunday, June 30th. We will have 11 exciting stages that will test your handgun skills to the fullest. Early match fee (paid up to Friday, May 31st) is $60 and will include a sandwich lunch. Staff will shoot on the 29th and the main match on the 30th. All competitors must be current IDPA members with a classification of Marksman or higher. We hope can join us to take part in this safe and fun event.
