m&p trigger pull weights

Can the trigger pull weight be adjusted, either by local gunsmith or at the factory, on a new M & P 9mm? I have a client who really likes the pistol but wants a heavier trigger pull weight than what comes standard.

Thanks

Mike

Should have just bought a Massachusetts M&P (they come with a heavier trigger to satisfy MA gun control law)

Google Dan Burwell or Burwell gunsmithing...he can do the job

Thanks for the info. Follow-up questions:

Can you recommend some gunsmiths that can perform this operation, preferably in the DFW Metroplex area?

Assuming the factory can make this change, anyone know what kind of timeframe and cost we're looking at?

Thanks

Mike

For factory work I'd SWAG $75 for parts and about the same for labor plus round trip FedEx over night shipping. I really suggest that you take this question over to www.mp-pistol.com
