Will single stack 1911 grips fit a double stack?

I'm thinking of getting a double stack 1911 (Norinco ) that comes with really ugly plastic grips...and was wondering if I could just get any single stack 1911 grips and slap it on the Norinco? If not are double stack gips hard to get?

Para P14 grips might fit. Single stack grips, no. Why do you think they're called "single stack grips"?

Houge makes some that fit on a Para P-14. They have a finger grooved front strap.

If its a double stack its not a real 1911 . and real 1911 grips won't fix . Might try Para grips as their a double stack Before some one says it. I don't consider Para double stacks a 1911 either.
