Gorgeous. Funny they use a cheap $15 gun case. BTW - what's in that zip lock bag?

I haven't dealt with George, but I've had conversations with him. Good dude. He feels our pain about waiting for these guns.

I think it probably has that infamous allen wrench that doesnt fit the grip screws. And I think hes in more pain waiting, probably gets a ton of calls if theyre in yet. I think he said theres 8 or 9 more coming in, dont know if theyre spoken for or not.

A side note. I actually talked to him on the phone for the first time today ever. And Ive dealt with him on pistols for more than 3 years now.

George is a good dude, I got my Brown and Baer off him, now my Pro and eventually a Wilson. And I keep eyeballing that Black Rain receiver set every time I go to his site.

The bag contains the wrench for the rear sight.

Machinegun, nice gun. I love the railed pros!! Where did you hear they are only going to make 5k pros. I have never heard that. Was curious if anyone else has heard that?? I guess if the contract calls for 5k guns, they can renew the contract for another 5K. Cant see SA giving up the pro.

I would guess that the Kimber with rails models will work then, it would be nice to have the option but I didnt figure it would seeing as the light is the fat part.

I got mine home tonight, but I could of sworn that the Operator came with a ramped barrel. I guess I must have dreamed that one up or something, I guess.

Yours is an early railed model if I am not mistaken judging by your pics. Later made production railed guns (2008 & up) went to ramped barrels, I am almost certain.

My Pro Operator, built in May '08, does not have a ramped barrel.

Railed Pro's in the 3800 range started getting ramped barrels, at least the last ones I've seen were - http://forums.1911forum.com/showpost...postcount=1117
