Got mine a few Weeks ago. Just got some slim grips and a Wilson combat mag in the mail today. I also learned your can't rack an empty Wilson mag, wish I had known that beforehand lol.

Here is mine. It is my first 1911, so I had to get the grips cuz my boys (6 and 11) think they are cool, but it doesn't wear them regularly, only when I am on the range or out behind the house shooting with my fella's.

Just picked up my 2011 VZ 12 days or so ago. Added a nighthawk custom trigger and mainspring housing, Ed Brown beavertail, hammer strut and hardcore slide stop, GI guide rod and Wilson bullet proof spring plug, and EGW barrel bushing. Replaced the pins with stainless ones and got an extended magazine catch. Just need some stainless screws.

I took the finish off the ambi safety and hammer, I'm waiting on a stainless hammer sear and disconnector from C&S but I wanted to see how it looked first. And as of my shooting trip yesterday I believe I'll be ordering a single sided thumb safety, the ambi one gave me a nice blister on my right hand.

I also took the park off the slide serrations for contrast. Think I'm going to duracoat in this color scheme next for a more durable finish as I've already rubbed the park off in a few places.

This is my first 1911 and I could not be happier with my ROCK. It is 9mm FS tact. It is a work in progress, so far I changed the grips, barrel Bushing and Guide rod plug. I still have the SS trigger to put in and a Fiber Optic front sight.

The first pic is the Stock. The second is a short trip to the range 50 rounds at about 10 yds. The last two well you get the idea.
