Wondering who would be a good gunsmith in South East Michigan would be, need to get a frame/slide tightened. Thanks

Same here, she has a Colt of mine right now. She is great to work with, I have heard nothing but good things about her work. Check out louderthanwords.us there is a thread under custom pistols all about her.

Ya I have already heard of him but even his website said that he won't do basic jobs. Really all that I would be having them do is fix another smith's mistake (or some guy thinking he is a smith) and then maybe adding a Kart Barrel and bushing... and a refinishing job.

Alright that was my next question... being that this is my only 1911 and I love it so... I don't wanna not have it for 3 months. I love it to death and I just wanna make sure it won't have far more problems in the future!

Last I read, Ned C. is not taking on any more work because he is back logged a few years.

Ya for me its just minor things... I don't need to wait years for just basic stuff. Im not getting a total custom pistol made.
