Just came back from the range. 1911 GI shooting well

I took my brother in law and noticed he had a lot of jams (loading) than I. We shot from the same GI series. I had none. So I know it has to be the way he was holding it. He did also have a problem with the last round loading from the magazine. I was using the magazine the gun came with. I had no problems. I had posted earlier I had problems with PMC. I shot Fioochi today with no problems. I am going to go buy rounds of PMC again and see if I have problems. The gun seems to be working better with the more rounds being put through it. I think it does need to be broke in.

I have put 350 rounds through my GI (original owner put 400), and so far it has had three FTF on the last round of all three Chip McCormick mags I own.
