Ultra Compact returned

Well I have returned my new ultra compact to sig for repair. As noted in a previous post, I was getting numerous FTE's with the pistol.

I tried several types of ammo - WWB, Remington, Estate, Federal - all had the same FTE issue, every second or third round.

The problem did not start right away, but got worse.

Sig sent me the return form and I dropped it off at the Fed EX office on Saturday. They said about a two week turn around time on this. We will see, will report back on the timeliness and quality of work when I get it back and test it on the range.

return

I got an e-mail today that the 1911 was shipped back to me yesterday. That is a about a one week turn around for the repair. I consider the service time / turn around excellent.

I will run a variety of ammo through the gun after receipt - the expectation is 100% - will report results next week.
