Eye exercise that helped me.
As I get older I notice my eyes get harder to concentrate on the front sight after 30 minutes of shooting. During my last eye exam, I pass with 20/20 and I tell my doctor that my have eyes been getting tired easier. He tells me that's normal as we get older and that I have a lazy eye. He prescribes reading glasses.
I found this site that has helped improve my eye strength, I've been doing these exercises for about a week so I thought I would share. http://health.learninginfo.org/eye-s...-exercises.htm

I am already about 15+ years ahead of my actual age in terms of eye wear and tear.
The best thing I find is to take a short time and relax before a eye exam and have a filter cloth with very small holes to see through to get the letters right on one eye. Regardless of my specific situation I am also cross eyed dominant which introduces yet another wrench into my own targeting solution to match and shoot. The more I shoot, the less I wonder if I should take an extra heart beat to check sights or more importantly stay focused on the bad guy. It is increasingly becoming a challenge to drive at night, something I don't wish to acknowledge having spent half a lifetime at night pushing 18 wheels. The modern halogen lights with the excessive blue don't help. I do use a yellow lens to cut that down.
