My contributory thought to this fun what-if game:
As highly independent personalities, each patriot would have brought his (and her, since we're mixing time periods) own personal favorites. Within a small battalion, regiment, etc., I suppose there might be at least one of each of the following:
Now THAT would be a formidable arsenal.

Well, whatever Alexander Hamilton was carrying didn't work out too well for him.

Andrew Jackson would probably go the custom 1911 route. Teddy Roosevelt would carry a Glock 21 or 20.

I doubt that. Teddy was appreciative of fine handmade weapons.

Probably some sort of flintlock muzzleloader. I'm no historian, but what other choices were there in the 18th Century?

Then perhaps an engraved peacemaker for Andrew Jackson and a fine, customized 1911 in .45 super for teddy.

Jesus had Peter with Him. Peter wasn't the most accurate guy around, but he had a sword.
John 18:10 "Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus." I don't think Peter was aiming for the ear.

Abe would without a doubt carry a shotgun/ax combo.

They'd carry 16", semi/full auto, M4A3's with Trijicon ACOG's. They'd have a 1911 on the hip. Both built by Colt.
