Chance for a sweet Ultra Elite
Owner of my local gun/pawn shop came across a very nice Ultra Elite circa 1999. It has all original paperwork, the original box, grips, 3 WC magazines and CT Lasers on it. Looks like it was shot, but taken very good care of. Other than the 'idiot' scratch by the slide lock pin, the frame is pristine. Barrel and internals look to be about 95 to99%. After doing some research here and other places I found there were only about 2500 of these made and the following year they became the CDP Ultra. My dilemma, while this is a somewhat off model (rare but not worth collector money IMO), is how much to pay for this little gem. I'd love to have it...Does anyone think $900 is too much to pay? I am pretty sure I can buy it for that or maybe a little less.
All input is welcome! |

I had the 4" Pro Elite version, i sold it for a little more than $900 a couple of years ago. If it's truly in good nick, then $900 seems pretty good especially as the CT's and mags add a couple of hundred in value. Nightsights will probably be dead, so if that's important to you, figure another $100 to get them changed out.
Offer $850 just to see what happens.

Yep, $800-$900 would be reasonable, if it is what you want.

I paid $1k for my Elite Carry made the same year. But it does have a little more collectibility due to being #73 of 1200 ever made. They are great pistols, you wouldn't go wrong at $900.
