Summer Special 2 question

I finally decided to go with a Milt Sparks Summer Special 2 from Brownells for my Kimber Pro Carry 2, but their commander size is 4.25". Anyone use this combo? Is the extra .25" a big deal? Thanks in advance, Mark

It's not a big deal.

I've been thinking about one of these as well. I don't know how it would feel on my bike everyday though.

When I go from 4 wheels to 2 wheels,
nothing changes. Except the number of
wheels.

It's no problem at all, and think of it as insurance for future commander sized gun purchases.

Just bought one from Brownells for my new Ruger SR 1911, & I sent away at Sparks for the extra belt loops for it in the Black leather. It hides better with a black belt than the Tan loops. & just $13.00 from M.S. with Shp included. COOL

Same-same

I use the 4.25" Commander version of the Milt Sparks SS for my 4" Springer Champion with zero complaints.

If you don't mind waiting a while, call them up and order one sized for a 4" bbl. I had one made--beautiful work. Get it in whatever color and belt loop size you want, with or without the extra leather at the top. Last time I checked they were restricting orders to a certain number per month, with a several month wait.
