Personally, I wouldn't send the gun. It costs a fortune, is not without risk of loss in shipment and, as far as stocks go, a 1911 is a 1911. There's really nothing to fit. But if you must, Pat will give you the info.

(I ordered mine purposely with minimal 'bark' - if you give him a call he can pretty much do them anyway you want).
you don't have to send your 1911 off to get grips for it, any quality 1911 grip maker would be able to fit the grips to one of their 1911s and they'll fit your Remington with little to no problems.
just about the only time you would need to send a gun off for grips is if it were for a single action and you wanted the grips fit perfectly.
