I've just added this to the list of things I hope I never see in person. Further reading reveals that the street drug known as bath salts played a role in all of this.

apparently this is the 4th, YES THE 4TH, incident of a "zombie" like attack in the Miami/Dade area. all perps were naked and showing "animal" like characteristics like growling and such......... something is certainly going on. what it is, i'm not sure.

yes, the victim is a gruesome site. he lost one eye completely, and will probably lose the vision in his remaining eye as well. for those interested in more info and pix, google is your friend.

That warrants an appropriate response.

The officer took the correct course of action.

How eager would you be to engage in close combat with someone covered in two sets of bodily fluids?

I agree.

A sick event, to be sure. However this really isn't related to guns or RKBA so it is now closed.

Try not to fall into the common trap of wanting to replace everything on your new 1911 just to make it "better". Know what you're changing out, and why. You may spend a lot of money fixing things that weren't broken to begin with. Shoot it for at least 500 rounds, then decide what you don't like and want improved. Vintage 1911's should NEVER be refinished or modified because it ruins any value they had as a collectible firearm.
