My R1 is good to go ...

Just after the first of the year I purchased an R1 Enhanced. Ever since receiving it I have shot nothing but various brands of 230gr FMJ. As to round count ... I don't have a clue ... never had much use for round counts. And when I go to the range I'll take 3 or 4, sometimes 5 handguns. Sometimes various calibers, sometimes just one or two.

Anyway, yesterday I took the R1 to the range along with my Ultra Raptor II and my RZ-10. As I stated before, to this point the R1 had seen nothing but ball, never once did it FTF or FTE ... rough guess 300 - 400 rounds. Yesterday it got it's first taste of JHP ammo. 185gr Golden Sabres and 230gr Gold Dots. First a mag of this or a mag of that. In the end I mixed the remaining ammo with a half a box of 23gr ball and started loading mags. I banged through eight 8 round mags of pot luck ... not a single FTF or FTE. As far as I am concerned this R1 is good to go ... very good to go!
