I've considered using it, but haven't yet tried. As you will see in WCR's response to your inquiry and mine, you will need to either go with Wilson's full length guide rod, or you would need to cut it down so you could keep the existing plug. I would prefer to avoid the use of a full length guide rod, so I might go with shortening the rod. Of course, cutting rod and blending the cut edges would be a pain in the butt.
I agree. You will need to run the FLGR and replacement plug. With the quality ISM recoil springs we now use I don't know that it is worth the change. Past experience showed me that a FLGR in a commander does not work as well as our factory set up. (most of the time)
I will take your good advise and keep the factory set up.
