Pray I never have to use customer service for my GRP!

So I lose a grip screw. Call customer service and guy said he would send a couple out. After calling once a week for 3 weeks I finally get them. Wrong size. They don't fit. Head is too big and length is too long. Call back again. No problem I'll ship out the thin hex head screws. That was 2 weeks ago so I guess another call and another week wait.

I hope I never have to ship my GRP back to them for anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I usually buy some extras in advance mostly because I change grips often and they are convenient to have a few spares around at any given time. When you get the screws from the dealer you might want to purchase a few spares from Brownells or Top Gun Supply just to keep..

Duct tape can easily be your best friend. For example, ok here goes one from my "fumbling hands trick book", I always peel back about 3"-4", tear it off, roll it back on it self so it sticks to work surface and I instantly have my tacky (no pun intended) surface for my grip screws right next to me and it works great everytime. Also works just as well for my VZ grips if I don't want them hitting the shop floor either. Not only do I have a NH GRP, but mine has Robar NP3+ inside and out as well as small parts and screws. So loosing one or all would be a challenge to replace for the same issues your having as well as the wait at Robar. I don't think this makes me the sharpest tool in the shed but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night....and my GRP only cost me $1800, sooooo....

So you're getting NHC to ship you-for free-replacement parts for something you lost and you're busting their chops in public for poor customer service?

Do I understand the situation correctly?

This is all kind of hitting me wrong...on unemployment but still able to have a NH GRP, somehow something seems amiss with priorities here...
and the whole thing of needing free replacement screw and ragging on NH?
Maybe it's just me....

So let me get this straight you want to make a thread about Nighthawk having horrible customer service after they offered to replace something that YOU lost (one grip screw) that they ending up sending you for FREE. Wow... I am amazed they still agreed to send you another set of grip screw's a second go around. Most companies would tell you to go buy another set since you lost them or at least make you pay for them.

So THIS is the subforum where grievances are allowed to be posted...always wondered which one it was. For a guy on unemployment, which is being paid by taxpayers, to post stating he can't afford a grip screw for his $2000+ gun is downright obscene. Maybe the OP should sell the gun and do without taxpayer funded unemployment payments for a couple months. The nerve of some people.

I pray they don't have to deal with someone like you again..we're sick of you just talking about $10 grip screws you "can't afford", for a $2500 gun because you're "unemployed". Cry me a river..

Worst. Customer. Ever.

I applaud the Mods for leaving this open long enough for the members who responded to inject a dose of reality.

I don't think the above posters are upset over anyone just being on unemployment. It's the fact the that the Op brought up he couldn't afford grip screws for his $2500 gun because he was on unemployment. I can't say I sympathize with the op. I had to sell my Brown because I was unemployed for a while. Damn priorities and all...
