weird thing
Just noticed something weird, if i fire dry or not and the firing pin is out, i have to pull the trigger again and cycle it for it to reset. very weird. in other words: pin in, hammer back, CLICK, pin out, cycle, pin still out, can still pull hammer back and still hear click from trigger pull, then cycle, then resets.

You might want to mention the specific gun you are refering to in above post.

oh, just assumed everyone would expect it to be the 1911. Anyhow, got it fixed, took a deep breath and took slide apart. NO videos on LDA slide, slightly different. It wasn't that dirty in there, but i guess it doesn't take much. After cleaning and oiling, seems to have been fixed.

This was the Para LDA? The "Light Double Action" trigger that is not a standard 1911 Single Action trigger?
So maybe it's not weird, just that noone here has experience with the LDA and how it comes apart/goes back together. I'm guessing something was out of place and you "fixed" it.

I would suggest a new FP spring just to be sure. Cheap and can't hurt.
