does Baer offer customization or just the packages he shows on the website?
id like a 4.25 Boss in 38 super.

While not as extensive as say what WC has, Baer does offer a number of custom options and even various chambering choices.

Though not all chamberings are available in all models, you can get things done that are not 'cataloged'.

Probably the biggest limiting factor is Baer will not use outside sourced parts, for Baer to install them, Baer has to sell them.

Find yourself a dealer who is familiar with the custom order process with Baer and they can help you price out and build the Baer you are looking for.

Call Baer and tell them exactly what you want and they can tell you. They are great people to deal with.

I dont see why they cant fit you a 38 super barrel. If its in stock it should be no problem.

Have you tried calling Crazy John yet (208-772-2339)? He is one of Baer's top sellers, and knows exactly what Les will, and will not do as far as customization goes.

John used to have annual sales for special orders, but has now decided to make them permanent, so you can special order exactly what you want for a price that cannot be beaten by anyone else.

If you are into instant gratification, he has THE largest inventory of Baers on the planet, and currently has .38 supers in stock. The wait time for .38 super from Baer is running right at a year currently, so having a large inventory is a good thing.

Yes, Baer will custom build you a gun or at least they used to. I just called up and worked out my 10mm Heavyweight Monolith then my dealer actually placed the order the next day for it. It was a lot of fun to talk to Mr. Baer about my build and what he recommended and I wanted.
