I carry a CRKT Hammond Desert Cruiser for general use, and the more compact Hammond Cruiser Special forces on occasion. The hammond cruiser is a very impressive knife for the $25 price tag, it's the best folder I've ever handled!

Just picked this up today. One of my LGS just started carrying them. Was great to be able to handle it before buying. I was worried it would be to big or heavy, but carries just fine in a pair of jeans for me.

Used to carry Benchmade, Sog, or Gerber automatics (mostly military issued)- but now I only carry a Spyderco Military on and off duty.
It's large enough to get any job done, but slim enough for EDC. I opt for a plain edge. A sharp plain edge can do anything a serrated can do, but a serrated can't do everything a plain edge can do. If I were to get anything but a plain edge, it would be a full serrated- the combination blades are worthless.

Well hells bells boys, y'all got me beat for sure. I have a cheap Winchester skinner that I picked up @ Walmart in 2001 or 2. Ya it was a cheap but I tell ya what, its skinned a lot of meat and cut just about anything I needed to on the farm. Moved to Des Moines 3 years ago so it doesn't get used quite as much as it used to. Not much into folders but my wife got me a blaze orange buck folder for Christmas last year that I like okay. No matter what though, my Walmart cheapy is always hanging off my belt. Writings pertnear worn off by now. Love to find a holster for my 1911 that was made like the sheath. Plastic inside but covered in nylon. Its been in lakes and rivers when I went swimming. Its been scuffed along the ground while I crawl under a car. Looks a lil worn but holding together great. I'd put a picture up if I could figure out how to do it.

One of these two normally.

Switched the ZT to tip up carry recently for commonality between all my folders.

Inspector Callahan ~ I'm not talking about the fancy Benchmade pocket clip one-handed opener you carry every day but never actually use.

I carry a Benchmade 950 Rift everyday and have used it extensively through three deployments and countless days in the field. I also carry it outside of work. Not promoting one brand over another, sometimes you can get better for less...and some people do buy strictly for the name. Before that I carried others that worked just as well. I just like the feel of the Rift and it's incredibly durable and holds an edge for a long time. I bought it out of a store, not online, after checking out just about every other knife they had. Without breaking the bank on a knife but not sacrificing what I wanted in one the Rift was the clear choice. For a multitool I carry a leatherman and I also keep a Hesco on hand.

I carry a Strider SNG with the slightly curved "concealed carry" handle. I use it constantly, for all sorts of things. It's expensive, but it is built to withstand abuse (and it does), and Strider will repair it if anything ever goes bad on it....forever.

I tend to stick to my Spyderco's and my Benchmade Griptilian or mini stryker for daily carry because they are so light. My best tactical knives as far as a folder that "feels" like a actual fighting knife for a folder there are two that are made for it. My Emerson CQC 11 and my Zero Tolerance 0700. Both of those are just cut for the human hand.
