Hi all... first time poster.

I recently got a MC Operator but want to clean up the rear sight, not a big fan of 3-Dots. I'm running 10-8 on my Glock and loves them and want to do same on my MCO.

My question is which notch should I can that will fit the facotry OEM night sight front dot. Brownells has three different notch.

Standard - .325” high with following U-notch:

.125”
.140”
.156”

Opinion?

Thanks,

Standard height 10-8 rear works on 5" Springfields. The .375 height Plexi is referring to is the measurement on the "tall" rear that Springfield uses on Ultra Compact sized pistols. The .140 U notch is the usual one every job we've ever done gets spec'd with.

To review: Standard height rear with a .180 front sight on that gun usually bore sights dead on.

We have done two of these for cttbax on his MC Operator and his SA Professional.
