Inserting mag - push mag release?

I don't have any Brown 8-packs to try. I suppose I could try a couple Nighthawk mags, and I might have some Les Baer mags around here somewhere.

I have the same problem. The Kobra Carry came in the mail yesterday, and the Brown Magazine that came with the pistol works great. Tried inserting my 47D and had to push the Mag Release Button to get it in.

Welcome to the forum Bigmac and Congrats on your new pistol. It'll take more pressure, but you should be able to just firmly drive those other magazines in, they'll eventually get easier to seat.

Watch the meat on your fingers slamming it home. More then once I have been over zealious and pinched my finger. Now I always carry a bandage.

I have 6 Brown magazines (7, 7 and 8) and 17 47D Wilsons and a few Kimber Tac Mags. ALL of them go into both Browns, my WC and my Kimber 1911s with no extras pushing and all feed without failure.
