PM9 magazine issues

I have two PM9's and therefore 4 magazines. About once a magazine about the third or fourth round in, the mag will let more than one round out at a time. I even had an extra round get spit out with an empty shell. I have tried multiple ammo on both guns with the same result. I have had pros try it with the same result. I borrowed a super 380 mag and every ammo ran like a top. Not a single snag.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I have only had my PM-9 a week, have ran a little over 500 rounds through it. Mags used are the 2 factory and 2 Tripp mags. The factory mags have only been used 14 times each and have not had the problem that you are experiencing. Have you disassembled the mags? If so, perhaps the springs were installed backwards?

I have four of the PM-9 mags too, but have only used one of them thus far. I have used several different types of ammo in that one, with complete reliability...

I recently bought a Specialist. My buddy gave one of the factory mags a firm seat (I watched him getting ready to shoot it) and the mag jumped right over the mag release and jammed the pistol. I have also had some reliability problems in the first 100 rounds in my Razorback.

I run Tripps in all my pistols. Zero problems in my 45s. I highly suspect they will cure the ftf in the Razorback as well. Do yourself a favor and buy a few and see if they solve your problems. My bet is that they will. Don't get the .38 Supers., get the 9mms. The .38 Super. mags are designed for a longer cartridge.

I know some members like the checkmates just fine and I am sure some run just fine. However, handle one next to a Tripp and you will understand the price difference.
