Purchase my several thru Brazos. Initially called around and asked a few questions to get a feel. Results were good service, documentation, communication, friendly, courtesy and knowledgeable. Sounds like the BS Motto but what's not to like. Why go elsewhere when satisfied. And nothing better than being a loyal customer if an unlikely problem pops up. Just my 0.02$ from limited experience. I am sure the other are also good

Got my Trojan last week from Dawson Precision. Shipped the next day with excellent over the phone service. Even had a fiber optic front sight added.

I bought my Ranger II from Dawson Precision, after the other major shop said they couldn't ship till mid August. I couldn't have been happier with my decision. They installed my sti ambi, the customer service was great (thanks Jennifer!) and I had it in my hands half a week earlier than they promised. When my wife gets her Elektra, I have NO doubt where we will be purchasing it.

when i was shopping for a STI Steel Match..i called Dawson Precision & Brazos.. i chose Dawson Precision to order my Steel Match, the lady at Brazos seemed to be a little
unconcerned when I asked questions about ordering .. gosh when someone spends
$3200+ on a pistol...i figured I could ask a few questions before committing an order..

+1 for Oak Hill!

Ordered a 9mm Trojan, shipped same day.

Paid w/ a CC, no fee and free shipping.

Jon at Oak Hill was incredible both on the phone and via email!

Called Shooters Connection to verify they had a Sentry in stock. Was told they had it and to choose 2day instead of overnight since I was in TN I would still probably get in one day. Ordered it on line at 1:00 pm. Got an email at 4:00 pm from UPS showing it was scheduled for early delivery by end of day tomorrow. With all that's going on right I think that qualifies for exceptional service.

I got my Trojan and my Spartan from Dawson Precision. I can drive to their place in 20 minutes or so, so I found them very easy to deal with. They installed DP fiber optic sights on both guns while I waited. I had trouble with my Spartan not locking back after the last round when I shot my DP mag. I contacted Dawson and they had me bring them the mag and the gun. 30 minutes later, I had an operative mag. David Dawson himself did the fix. They are a very busy place, but they are only about 20 minutes away from STI. Dawson Precision is in Florence, Texas and STI is located in Georgetown Texas. These towns are next to each other.

FWIW I bought my Guardian at Shooters Connection. Nice people and they sent the pistol out very quickly. I would gladly buy from them again.

+1 Oak Hill. Their site only shows it if it is in stock. I called and reserved my Sentry, and mailed them a money order (cheaper price then advertised; ie non-CC payment price) and he pulled it right off the site. It was at my FFL within days.

The sad thing is that they are charging MSRP now rather than the 10% less that they used to. For them doing that, i wouldn't recommend them anymore or until they go back to how they were.

I have emails out to Brazos, Oak Hill and Dawson looking for some items.

I just bought an Sti Sentinel Premier from Shooters Connection- the ONLY place I could find one and it was shipped the same day 2-day UPS. Great experience. I also bought a Trojan CRP from Dawson and they were super people to deal with.

+1 Quack. I decided not to go with shooters connection since they are charging MSRP. I decided to order my Edge from Brazos, at 10% below MSRP. It should arrive this month sometime (fingers crossed).

My last STI came from Shooter's Connection. I went on their site looking for my 3rd one and noticed the price increase.

My 3rd one will probably come from Oak Hill.

Monday I was looking for the 4.0 Lawman in .45. I found the same at full boat MSRP and passed on it from shooters connection. Oak Hill had in stock. I mailed 2 USPSMO/Priority mail, totaling 1299 on Monday. The pistol shipped Wednesday. Scheduled for coming Monday delivery. FFL fee and VZ thin grips will likely be an additional $150, landed in my hands. Really stoked about this new gun. So..1450 in that pistol doesn't bother me at all. Can hardly wait. Loaded a hundred target loads for arrival. Oak Hill seems to be a fine place to do business.

My last three STI's came from Chuck Bradley at Shooter's Connection as he keeps a good stock but you can't go wrong with Dawson or Brazos...

I've bought from different places in the past but am seriously irked with them all right now because as much as I hate to use words like collusion, it seems like everyone went up to list price on Wednesday of last week, when the day before they were all offering 10% off on about any STI gun you wanted. I'm building two "Eagles" right now, from parts. That way I won't have a bunch of take off parts that I didn't want to start with and I'll have less in each of them total than I would have had in a pre ripoff Eagle, and with the parts I want on it from the get go.

Another +1 for Oak Hill. Ordered my Ranger II on Tuesday, shipped same day, no fees, free shipping, showed up at my dealer on Friday. Can't ask for much more than that
