T- Series Hi Power question .

Just got a T-Series Hi Power ( about 95%) in original pouch with orginal magazines. Paid 825.00 otd.total for it . I think A I paid a little too much. The seller said that T-Series bring more money???

Whats with T-Series? I have a C-Series that looks just as nice.

Also. What year is T254XXX?

THANK YOU .

Year of manufacture is 1968 for T254XXX. T Series usually do bring more money if they are in excellent condition. Pictures of your new T and C series would be appreciated.

You didn't pay too much, but you didn't steal it, either. Pix are mandatory here in the land of the BHP. Enjoy your new pistol.

I have owned more than one example of both the "T" and "C" series Hi Powers. You are right, the "C" series is just as nice. For whatever reason, the "T" series is the one that has gained the mystique of desirability, and typically commands higher asking prices. As to the price, I have seen some real dog/beater examples priced higher than the price you paid...

Don't feel rained on. You did OK. Better than OK in some locales.

Hello there. I just came back from my LGS where I purchased a T-series on impulse. It is very good condition (not excellent) with one mag and no box. It was marked $849 cash, but a week ago he dropped it to $749. I jumped on it. I think it was a fair price and I've seen them go for $900 in this condition. I figured, I wanted it so wasn't going to find one in much better condition for the price.

Serial number is T1650xx. Anyone know when it was born?

Will do, in Illinois, you have a waiting period of 3 days, so once I get it home I'll definitely get some pics up.

Thanks for the info.
