However, I'd be careful of going purely by the written dimensions. Case in point: I milled 10-thou' off the top of my slide and ended up with a 5-thou' gap between the slide and the underside of the sight-blade, so rather measure the depth of the dovetail on the pistol itself.
The little gap doesn't affect anything and is purely cosmetic, but it's irritating to see the proof of my misplaced faith in published dimensions.
