Federal Better Then Winchester
Can someone Explain To me I shoot 900 rounds of Winchester regular old 230 fmjs, and i get a few FTFs in my standard 7 round mags. But then i didn't have to money and decided to get the cheapest Walmart had which happened to be Federal. I purchased 300 rounds for the range trip. I did not have a single FTF can anyone explain this

Either your pistol is now "Broken In" or Federal makes a better cartridge?

Some pistols have preferences. The expensive part is to find what your pistol prefers. Unless you roll your own, then it won't be as costly.

Like others have said, and mine prefers WWB over Federal. Also your hold my have been alittle loose on some of your other trips. I found this does make a different on how well it functions.

Federal makes a great round for the money. I have never had a problem with the Walmart special. Just wish my local WW would keep them in stock!

for the past month or so I've shot Fed American Eagle exclusively in 9mm and .45 ACP for a total of 1000+ rounds without a single problem. AE burns very clean.
I do not patronize chinamart.
