Nelson custom conversion kit

To be upfront I am Larry Nelson's son. Does anyone have some feedback on the conversion unit? People tell us they like it but I wanted to hear some feedback from people that have purchased a unit and have spent some time shooting it.

Here is my post from last December. http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=393297

The only additional comment is I have run more ammo through it since my post, all without one failure. And, I've never taken it off the Kimber Goldmatch frame. It's a joy to shoot and incredibly accurate. I recommend it!

Kevin, we spoke a few weeks ago. I plan on making my purchase next week and using it on my STI Spartan 5. And it won't take long to get a few hundred rounds thru it. Be glad to make a report then!

Really like the RR pics!!

Just received mine yesterday. I plan on running at least a brick through it this weekend. I told your dad I'd give him a call with the results.

If you can solve all the feeding issues because of the poor ammo quality we're getting I'll buy one myself. Ceiner, Marvel, and AA haven't been able to do it. And the answer is NOT requiring me to buy top shelf ammo that costs as much as 9mm. Best wishes and good luck!

FWIW - We've tested our units with everything we could find, including Aguilla SubSonic Sniper and Super Extra, bulk Federal and Remington, CCI SV and Mini Mag, Lapua, RWS, Eley and many more. We haven't had any problems with feeding or function. We shoot CCI Standard Velocity for testing and in competition with excellent results.
