Kimber Adj. Sights

Are Kimbers adjustable sights copies of Bo Mars? In other words, will a bo mar sight fit into a Kimber slide milled for Kimber adj. sights?

BoMar makes a replacement that will fit the Kimber dovetail, I believe that it has a part number of BMCS-K. I haven't ordered one yet but if my rear sight breaks a third time I will go for the BoMar. I believe their address is http://www.bo-mar.com

I read a post somewhere that said Bo-mar
made Kimber adjustable sights. I hope it is true, because it s the biggest reason I paid $172.00 for Kimber adjustable night sights

Not True
Bomar makes a replacment for the Kimber yonkers adjustable Yes (the early ones used an LPA)
Kimber uses the More expencive Bomar brand sight to build there guns NO.

Kimber would have saved money by offering a better sight that would have cost more initally but not had to replace some 2 and 3 times? and pay some shipping charges I suspect. bean counter and precieved value question?
