Stacked mag compatability

I have two single stack paras, but am looking into moving into the double stack models; especially that new Tac Four. Can anyone tell me if double stack para mags are compatible with all para double stack models? I'm especially interested if I could use mags from other models in the new Tac Four.

It is my understanding that all are compatable provided mag well lengths don't exceed the magazine length. So a P-13 magazine would seat in a P-12, but a P-12 magazine is too short for P-14. I believe that Para mags will work in the inferior stag mag weapons i.e., Springfield & the new Kimber. The reverse however is not true.

The Para Tac-Four mag well is the same as a P13 and will accept any P13 or P14 mag. Some of the really old Para mags had weaker springs than the newer versions but hi cap springs are readily available from Para or Wolff's.
