WTT Older Colt slide and barrel
I have an older Colt 1911 beleived to be 1918 upper (complete) on a newer RIA frame...
I would like to trade it for a RIA slide (complete)

If I don't trade or sell this fine old 1911 (not 1911A1) upper, I will put the file to it and start lowering the ejection port, and change sights and put it to use..what a shame

Poor man has poor ways...that's the problem of gun addiction after retirement..If I want a new gun..I have to sell or trade one of mine...I guess it's the same with the complete slide..so the drama continues...
I am asking 200.00 for the complete slide ( all you have to do is slip a frame under it and start shooting....

You can sell the colt slide for more than it would cost for a RIA slide and get the slide you want and a little cash in your pocket. I love to customize all of my guns as well, but cring at the thought of an original colt slide being cut on.

Me too....looks like it may have been saved from the dremel tool...I'm on hold

first message posted, i have a ria slide that i only shot 50 rounds through . i bought a comple gun because i couldnt buy a frame .for my colt conversion .would like to see more pics thanx
