This is the issue for those that say he's done good things for Chicago without spending too much. How much is he willing to throw away fighting to repeal the 2nd amendment? I'm sure going back to Daley it's multiple millions already. That's a lot of dough where I come from and it could be used in much more effective ways.

It is alot of money and they don't mind blowing it on what they want. But its not out of their own pockets. Liberals have no problem at all spending other peoples money. They can always raise property taxes, sales taxes, cigarette taxes, ammo taxes, gas taxes, telecommunications taxes, hotel taxes, employee head count taxes, liquor taxes....... Do I need to go on?

Chicago is broke! Daley amassed a deficit that would embarrass California, and the state can't pay it's own bills, much less subsidize Rahm's follies. Rahm says he can't tolerate failure. I guess all the mirrors have been removed from city hall. Downstate Democrats outnumber their Chicago counterparts, and nearly half supported CCW last summer. Property taxes are Chicago Democrats' third rail. Most property taxes are levied by city agencies like Parks and Sanitation, or school districts, and can't be diverted. Tourism and conventions are down by 30% from ten years ago, and you can't smoke any more.

It's time to keep the pressure turned up.

Right on! And every gun owner in Illinois needs to join the ISRA. They plus the NRA are the ones putting the pressure on.

Without the ISRA this fight would have been lost long ago. Join today. We can win this.
