One of my top favorite tv series ever!!!
I have been a huge fan of zombie movies for a long time. Sadly most movies are cheap, bad acting, too much language, yada yada yada. Finally a well done, zombie series that is of great quality in many aspects. It also has a great plot and story line which most lack. BTW: one of my other favorite shows is Breaking Bad on AMC as well. If you havent seen it, you have to. One of the best made shows I've ever seen.

Love it!! Good luck with netflix. It seems all they've done is now charge more for a lesser service. You can't watch movies in a party on xbl, and they literally take months after a dvd is released to upload it.

HBO (er SHO?) has Game of Thrones, AMC has The Walking Dead and SCI had Farscape and the Battlestar Galactica remake...
SCI needs to get their game back on, I don't know how fracking much more of that Ghost Hunters crap I can take... Quote:

No kidding, Cpt. Methane. I'm watching Farscape again with my kids and I'm still pissed off they cancelled it. Thank goodness for box sets.
Love the Walking Dead. I watch the show, my boss has read the graphic novels, and we compare notes on breaks.

I love this show I read the comic a few years back and I think the show was better. Have you watched falling skies? it has a similar feel and is an excelent program.

I enjoy the show as well. It's pretty well made even though some of the things they do make me cringe because of the stupidity.

The first season was excellent. The second season was too much of a slow burn, with endless personal conflicts within the group replacing the desperate plight to survive a zombie apocalypse. I kept waiting for them to get the hell off the damn farm and back on the road, but it looks like now they've gone straight off the farm and into a prison. If season three doesn't hit the ground running I may lose interest.
One thing the show did demonstrate however, was the need to form a strong group of people in the aftermath of a world-wide breakdown of society, and to learn to count on each other for survival as well as defense. Those who think they'll just go hide out in the woods by themselves with a bunch of guns and some dried provisions probably aren't going to last too much longer than the helpless plugged-in soccer moms they so badly detest.

Try not to fall into the common trap of wanting to replace everything on your new 1911 just to make it "better". Know what you're changing out, and why. You may spend a lot of money fixing things that weren't broken to begin with. Shoot it for at least 500 rounds, then decide what you don't like and want improved. Vintage 1911's should NEVER be refinished or modified because it ruins any value they had as a collectible firearm.
