Serial # thread

I wanted to start a post on serial #s, this will just be about dates and not about differences in model years. I know people will say DW doesn't do model years anymore but people still seem to want to know when their gun was manufactured. This will obviously be a work in progress with people adding information in time. Post in this thread or Pm me with info on dates you would like to me to ad to this first post. If you dont want the whole serial # posted just replace one or more numbers with X. Also feel free to tell me about any mistakes I make along the way or models I am missing. I just took the models off DW website that are currently there. Im just a noob and maybe in time this will become a sticky if enough people ad to it.

These are Dave Severns and 2TransAms stickys about models designation and serials.

Today Ive realized that I cant make changes to my first post after 24 hours because of recent forum policy changes. This thread might be dead in the water but I have an idea that may work. Waiting for reply from Mod.

There are a thread or two for specific models already, CCO being one.

Rather than have a catch all thread, perhaps just start a thread for the model(s) you are interested in and don't exist.

Did you check this thread for serial numbers from 2008 Valors?

As I understand it, DW made 9mm Guardians numbered 1-400 in 2010. I have no. 400 BTW.

What they did in 2011 and with the 45 ACP models has a been a mystery to me. Did they continue with 401? Do the 9's and 45's just fall into a different range of numbers?

You mentioned a post specifically for the CCO. I tried the search function but nothing came up. Do you know the name or can you direct me to it? Thanks.

I reckon I was a off a bit. The thread was actually for 2010 CCOs, though 2010 was the start of the new serials.
