Gold Cup Trophy Availability

I'm on the hunt for a 2012(or current model with 100 medallions) Gold Cup Trophy Stainless. My local gun store mentioned that they can place an order with their distributor but they could not give me a lead time. I don't mind waiting...but does anyone know whether Colt is currently shipping Stainless Gold Cup Trophies? Concern is that my deposit will be tied up for 8+ months.

Any help and comments will be greatly appreciated.

Bud's had them on Tuesday. I ordered one. Today they are gone.

I just bought one at my local shop. They had received it the day before. They are very hard to find. I saw a few on Gunbroker a couple of weeks ago.

My LGS had a SS Gold Cup as well as a Blue Trophy when I was there last week.

Just remember the meds are on the grips, so check the S/N of when it was made.

The 100 year escutcheons are for 2011 and not available on the current models. I think I have 4 or 5 of the current models in stock at the present time. PM me for contact info.

This is a 2010 blued flat top Gold Cup Trophy. They did make these into 2011 i think. I changed out the rubber wrap arounds for some wood ones I got off the Colt website.



Just check with Colt when your gun was made.

I just bought a blued GOLD CUP TROPHY and the new Shoot Straight in Clearwater FL has a Stainless for sure and I believe the Tampa store does too.

My LGS has three GCTs: two SS and two blued. Too bad it's in Hawaii though....=/

I too just got a SS last month, the grips are the wrap around though, the 100 is gone...I got a 2012 model, its super nice. My LGS had a 9mm delta, a govt model two gold cups. They couldnt get colts for the last 3 years to save thier life now not an issue...I got two this year just because I could....wifey not happy..I am though....

I bought a 2012 stainless GC yesterday at my local dealer here in WA. so there are a few around. He only had one. There is some price gouging going on though because there aren't many. My dealer knows me well and he let me have it for $999. I hope you can find one for that price. Jim
