Wow, just found this thread. I recently e-mailed his "info" address with a question about 2-tone knife possibilities. Haven't heard anything yet, but now I'll just be patient and wait to see if he answers.
Was hoping he'd make a two tone version so I could match my kimber.

Hope he does get back to me. I'd really like one.

As a dealer, I've sent several emails to him as well. A couple trying to order more product and a couple others asking if he was okay. My first email was sent in March and I haven't received a response yet.

Perhaps he was deluged over the years and just said "no more".

Sounds like a one-man shop to me so being on the phone and answering god knows how many e-mails from around the world might take up his whole day.

I'm gonna go with a standard version. You can find them available from his dealer list - although one of the California dealer's (also listed as a distributor) website is gone. Probably not in business anymore.

You can also find them on e-bay.

Oh, and "no" I'm not buying two to try and make it myself. Not worth the novelty.

So much for a special 2-tone version to match my gun.

This is why I wound up going through Wilson and got one of their knives instead. They at least have great customer service.

No disrespect, but no e-mail answers for several months, I filed a complaint thru the BBB of Canada and they say THEY got no response........

To me, shady means deceptive or underhanded. I don't think that's what is going on here. A lack of communication seems to be the primary factor.

I was actually able to dig up an old email that had two phone numbers for Terry. One was obviously a cell phone with Terry's voice and name on the message. I left a message a few days ago, but no response. The other was probably a home number, but it just rang and rang. No answering machine.

It's a shame l couldn't get through to him. I might be interested in buying the patent.

Its been more then a year since the first email I sent him, I also sent an email every month/month and half just as a check up/reminder of my questions/orders. Nothing. I havent sent him an email in a few months as I gave up, its not worth my time and he obv doesnt want my money. I really think that someone competent and who has the money/facilities/customer service in the USA should purchase the patent and make them here.

I still have two compact size in black 440C in stock and ready to ship.

I'd definitely be interested in buying the patent. It says patent pending, so not sure if it's official yet.

I've also placed a few calls and left voicemails too.

How can someone just ignore customers like this? I knew something was au a year ago when I was getting the run around on my order from this joker.

WOW, surprised to see thread still lives. I used PayPal on my purchase, and recieved NOTHING from UE, until I contacted PayPay to dispute payment.
THEN, You guessed it, got a e-mail and my knife was on the way.
Terry lied about that, told me Knife was shipped, (Friday), but when Knife arrived I noted it was actually Saturday when shipped. I would not release
PayPal until I had it in my hands!

I'd buy a knife from a U.S. vendor, IF, they answered their phone. AND don't run business from their garage or basement.

I'd pass on Ultimate Equipment. Too many great choices out there.

Gee, imagine that! Several people complain about one issue or another and no response.....one person disputes PayPal and miraculously, his knife gets shipped. Terry needs to be strung up by his thumbs!

Follow the dateline on my OP and follow up. I'm lucky I WASN"T patient!
When I initally phoned to confirm purchace, and got no reply to my phone message is what set me off. I just got that 'nervous' feeling.
I might have got the last knife he shipped. And as posted, he lied about shipping that. Too bad, nice idea, well executed.

Yup, made the purchase by CC back around Christmas.....figure it's a little late to dispute now.



Thumbs.......can't say what I really wanted to, and I didn't say "till he was dead", just for " a little while".


Drawing and quartering is a violent response......but opinions vary.
