Hey from cali
Hey guys, I'm new here, I am looking in to purchasing a 1911 here shortly. I am a United States Marine armorer and am trained in building and repairing anythig from 9mm to 155mm cannons. I like my berretta M9 but I have recently been shooting a freinds 1911 which I love. His is a rock island GI model I believe and I love it. I can't wait to get mine.

The 1911 platform is a great place to work! The basic design is sound and you can up-grade it any way you like. With the military knowledge you have it should be a piece of cake. Welcome aboard,
