The Devel Browning Hi Power

I have seen Wayne Novak's collection but have any of you all see actual Devel BHPs out on the market and what kind of money do they bring?

I would love to have got one in the 80s but I was just a wee lad and not able to own a gun then.

I remember a number of years back the Devels were going for a lot of money; I shudder to think what one would sell for today.

I see some his smiths on gunbroker from time to time selling for 2,3 sometimes 4 grand but never any Hi Powers. I would love to have bought some his custom pieces. It sucks that he was gunned down and taken away from the gun community. He truly was ahead of his time.

Don't know about current pricing on Devels but was just this morning in the LGS with the crazy inventory and saw an ASP in one of their showcases, was tagged @ $5,950.00.

Devels might be in that neighborhood as well.

I've saw one of the Austin Behlert mini-HPs recently but no Devels. Asking price was $2,200.

Best Regards,
