I am now Globally Responsible.

Picked up my new GRP today. Took it out for a few hundred rounds. Wow. What a nice gun. Very, Very, accurate. The target that came with it had one hole. This is the most accurate 1911 I own. More so than my Baer. The gun is also very smooth. No break-in needed here. 100 percent reliable so far. Great trigger pull. Fit and finish are excellent. This is a keeper for sure.

Congrats! One if not the best of NH gunsmiths (Travis) worked on that gun also.

Thanks. He did one hell of a job. Wonder if I can specifically ask for him to build my next Nighthawk.

I don't see why not, ask away! Whether NH will honor your request is another thing though, I cannot speak for them. NHC is a bit of a mystery these days, they did a bang-up job on my pistol, customizing and BNing the slide. I not at all sure who did the work but I'd give them 2-thumbs up!

Looks like they built you a great 1911 too!

I'm honored! Though having a superb pistol to begin with really helps. I'd say that if you could manage to have Travis to build you another you know at least they'll be consistent. I'm finding out that doing the upgrades this way has some benefits, and time may be the biggest one. If you already have the pistol to work with. As I really cannot just purchase another model to get a "new feature" I'm thinking that I'll just get it incorporated into my build if possible...a frankenstine 1911 of sorts
