Just picked up a Kimber Solo

Thanks for the continuing updates. I picked up a Solo CDP a couple of weeks ago and have not had a chance to shoot it yet.

I have to remove one grip to get the slide lock spring in correct position.
The prolly is a better way but, If you have a problem try that. It works
for me.

Got mine back in Sept. 2011 after placing order in May...Payed $625.00 from Dick's Gun Room in Stow Ohio....
Had my doubts about this gun from the get go...So many rumors, mostly true.
Picked it up and checked with Kimber to see when it was made..It was made one week before I had it in my hand.Took it to the range and fired it EXACTLY the way Kimber recommended...Then I put some WWB 115 threw it......
Man was I happy, not one issue at all....About 400 rounds threw it and no issues.....I feel very lucky.......

I mostly pocket carry it in a Nemisis holster.......Did I mention I had no ISSUES with it ?

Do you know what size of Nemisis holster. I looked and they show five
Sizes but, the Solo is not listed in sizing chart?

I was finally able to shoot my Solo CDP this weekend for the first time. I only brought 40 rounds with me when I went ATVing this weekend. To my surprise this gun is a blast to shoot. I expected more kick for such a small gun. Hell even my 8 year old shot it! As I expected no issues at all.

I am up to 250 rds of 124 gr +P NATO and the little gun runs without a hitch.
Am satisfied the kinks & problems are worked out. Ran some 124 gr JHP thru it without a miss. I am satisfied and gonna carry for exercise walk and highway travel withJHP ammo. Thanks to everyone for input re:breakin.
