You want a simple answer for how left wing our educational system (all of it) is.
Go ask any # of students, and teachers, and graduates if this nation is a democracy or a republic. A: for those that don't know we live in a Republic.

Well, I went to college, and I'm a teacher in a large school district. I think the percentage of people that are liberals isn't as skewed as some people think. Yes, there are the majority, but there are plenty of Conservatives and Libertarians too. Neither are as vocal os the liberals though.
To the OP, if you are going to write this paper and get a decent grade for it, you must be as objective as possible. Stay away from prejudicial language and fallacies. Be careful about attacking common fallacies used by the anti's as well. Let the facts make your argument. Your professor's might not agree with your position, but they will be more likely to consider your argument and return an appropriate grade. Good luck. Robert

Also, I hope we can all agree that generally conservatives are more 2A friendly and liberals are generally opposed to gun rights. I hope no one finds it necessary for that to be proven at this point. Given that, I'd like for anyone to name any colleges or universities where the teaching staff or administration is clamoring for the right to carry firearms on campus or attempting to overturn existing rules on campus prohibiting that.
