Ultimate Equipment?

It took me alittle over a month to get a response from each of the 2 out of the 3 emails I sent and have yet to get a response from the 3rd and it has got to be going on atleast 6 months now. My questions were about the knives themselves and a decent quantity buy. From that I have no faith in the "CS" and IF I do purchase one or a group buy of those knives it will be thru a vendor not him. Even if I have to pay more.

The next one will be from a vendor. Buying direct was in this case a mistake.
USPS attempted delivery this AM, I wasn't home to sign so now it rolls to at least monday evening when mail carrier returns to branch P.O.
(I can't be here to sign Mon AM either.)... what a pain in the ***
$16.00 for express delivery, took 9 days and I have to go pick it up...LOL
Only thing left is for me to cut myself when I get the knife....

Hate to jump on the "beat'em up" bandwagon, but I've got a small issue and can't get any response from them either. The thumb unlock studs came out (and are lost) and I can't close the blade. I just want them to send me some new studs and I'll be a happy camper.

Sent e-mails 2 weeks in a row without any response. Getting ready to send #3.

Is there a "Better Business" in Canada? I hate to go that route, but if I can't get a response from them, there's not much choice left. I've only had my knife since just before Christmas (present to myself).

Not even concerned that the nylon case ripped open and the knife fell out 2X before I realized the case was junk. I just want a response.



If anybody can let me know how to get in touch with them I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks, Tracy

Well, my beautiful knife arrived today, and I promptly contacted PayPal to notify them that my issue had been resolved.

I'm not going to order direct from UE again. Dealer or pass. Not worth the BS.

i have two knives and they are beautiful. They are very well made and too nice for me to use. I bought them to match my 1911's that i planned on building but i never got around to it so they are just sitting in my safe. I hate to get rid of them but i think thats what i will end up doing.

If I were you I'd buy a 1911, start shooting, and become a reg. visitor to the forum!

I bought two at the end of last year, got one email back from the guy but after that I never got any questions answered (they weren't important, more like "do you have this in stock").

Paid via PayPal, got my stuff pretty quick, was happy with the speed of delivery and product. I'm sorry you are having so much trouble.

I had to have the Damascus blade, it was too beautiful for me to pass up. I ended up using those nice smooth ebony wood grips on my Eclipse. You can see how nice it compliments it in my signature below.

That alone should give people good reason to rethink this type of composite blade material. Stick with the tryed and true real deal knife blade steel. Just check the material Bench Made use's for their knife blades.

When I have bought knives from the Knife Center, if it's in stock they ship it right out and I have my new knife within two days.

I ordered one of these on march 27th, then found this thread a few days ago and started sweating. Today Terry sent me a polite update saying he was sorry for the delays and that my knife shipped yesterday express mail and I should see it soon. Kinda takes the knot out of my belly. Will let you guys know when I have it in hand.

Today I received my knife, looks great. Almost hate to use it.
Terry did say he just got done with a big batch, and was behind.
He shipped express mail to make up for delay.
I bet several of you should see packages this week, hope so.

That's pathetic. Makes me glad I cancelled my order with him months ago. There is zero excuse nowadays to not answer emails. I don't care if its the best knife out there. I would never give such a terrible businessman my money even through a separate dealer.

I hate to hear all the problems. But l will keep trying to pass the info along: Terry would really prefer purchases be made through one of his authorized dealers. That's why he has a dealers section on the site. He is very busy and I understand that is no excuse, but that is the purpose of the dealers. To handle the orders so Terry can work on other things. As dealers, we are all required to use the same minimum pricing so you should get the same price (or even cheaper since dealers like me aren't shipping from Canada) no matter if you order from a dealer or directly from Terry. Hopefully Terry stop accepting individual orders and defer to his dealers since he obviously isnt able to handle everything he has going now. But seriously, if you are considering a 1911 knife, please call some of the dealers listed on the site to see if they have what you want in stock first before going directly to the manufacturer.

Sadly, I called it my second post this thread. Beautiful knife, fouled up business.
He has everything in place to turn it into success. Hire young attractive business major, with excellent communication skills. Employment duration incentive.
